Platform Team

The Lipidomics platform, part of the COI - Mass Spectrometry Laboratory at NDM, allows the identification and quantification of targeted lipids in physiological samples, including cells, media, serum/plasma, and tissue. For the moment we have been working on inflammatory lipids (eicosanoids and relevant fatty acids) and steroids, but this workflow can be implemented for other lipid families.

Instrumentation:  Agilent Technologies 6495 Triple Quad LC/MS.

Our latest publication: "Targeted Mass Spectrometry Reveals Interferon-Dependent Eicosanoid and Fatty Acid Alterations in Chronic Myeloid Lukaemia" by Scott H. et al., Full access to the atricle in the following link: https://www.mdpi.com/1422-0067/24/21/15513
