HOW TO GET TO US
Bicycle
Old Road Campus has many cycle racks across the campus, with a good number located around the Wellcome Centre for Human Genetics (WCHG) and outside the COI. Bike routes from central Oxford and the main Science Area can be found on this map. A map of Oxford's cycle network is available from Oxfordshire County Council.
Train
The COI is three miles from the mainline station at Oxford, which has frequent trains to London (Paddington). Allow 15 minutes by taxi from the station forecourt. Travelling by bus, it is a short walk into the city centre, from St Aldates (stop G2) or the High Street (stop T2) take the City15. The City15 bus stops on Roosevelt Drive close to Old Road Campus; see bus stop locations. It is then a short walk through Old Road Campus to the COI.
Coach from London
The Oxford Tube operate 24 hours a day to and from Central London, stopping on London Road, Headington at the stops known variously as Headington School, Brookes University or Gypsy Lane.
Air
The Oxford Bus Company provides a transfer service from London Heathrow and London Gatwick airports, stopping on London Road, Headington at the stops known variously as Headington School, Brookes University or Gypsy Lane.
Bus
A regular bus service is available from Oxford City Centre on City15 route; For more information contact the Oxford Bus Company.

Car
Parking is very restricted on Old Road Campus. There are pay and display car parks in various locations in Headington (see Headington parking map). In exceptional circumstances, your host at the COI may be able to arrange a visitor's parking permit but this cannot be guaranteed.
Park and Ride
Park and Ride services run from the Thornhill Park & Ride car park (bus route 400), one mile east of Headington on the A40, stopping on London Road, Headington at the stops known variously as Headington School, Brookes University or Gypsy Lane.
