Christina Heroven, a postdoctoral researcher at the CAMS Oxford Institute (Fernandes Group), was awarded Best Talk at the NDM Research and Innovation Symposium, which marked the conclusion of Postdoc Appreciation Week across the department.

Researchers from across NDM concluded Postdoc Appreciation Week with the NDM Research and Innovation Symposium in the Richard Doll Building. The day featured plenary talks from Professor Dame Molly Stevens and Professor Sarah Blagden, and a welcome from Vice-Chancellor Professor Irene Tracey.

Early Career Researchers showcased their work through talks and posters, with Dr. Christina Heroven (CAMS Oxford Institute) winning Best Talk. The symposium also hosted discussions on early career fellowships and spin-out success stories from StemTech and Infinitopes. The event reflected the diversity and depth of NDM’s research community and has become a key date in the department’s calendar.
