On 27 November 2025, a delegation from the CAMS Oxford Institute, led by Professor Tao Dong, visited the Institute of Laboratory Animals Science (ILAS, CAMS/PUMC) at the invitation of the institute.

During the meeting, ILAS outlined its research foundation, resources, and platform development. The two sides exchanged views on areas including disease-model development and reached an initial consensus on potential future collaboration.

Following the meeting, COI PIs Professors Julian Knight and Marian Knight delivered academic talks on two frontier fields: Multi-omics and Maternal–infant Health—sharing recent breakthroughs and developments in precision medicine.

This visit strengthened mutual understanding in key areas such as mechanisms of major diseases and model development, creating favourable conditions for further collaboration.
