Xinyi He

DPhil Student

Xinyi joined the University of Oxford in 2024 as a DPhil Student in Clinical Medicine. Under the supervision of Professor Benedikt Kessler, Dr. Adán Pinto-Fernández, Dr. Darragh O'Brien and Dr. Ilknur Sur Erdem, Xinyi’s current research focuses on the role of ubiquitin-specific proteases in the homeostasis of adipose tissue and skeletal muscle, as well as the identification of novel therapeutic targets in the context of obesity and sarcopenia.

Xinyi obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Medicine from Sun Yat-sen University in 2024. His previous research encompassed both translational and clinical studies across multiple malignancies, including mechanistic investigations into liver disease progression and clinical research on targeted therapy and immunotherapy in lung cancer.
