My research focuses on the interactions between respiratory viruses and host cells. I am particularly interested in how host metabolism—encompassing metabolites and metabolic pathways—shapes viral infection, and how viruses in turn reprogram cellular metabolic processes. I also study the molecular mechanisms underlying viral replication, and aim to identify host factors that either promote or restrict this process, using proximity labeling–based approaches.
