Noushin Zibandeh

PhD; MSc; BSc

Postdoctoral Scientist

With over five years of experience as a postdoctoral scientist, in April 2022 I joined the CAMS Oxford Institute at the University of Oxford in the Bottomley Group.

During my M.Sc., I spent most of my time in fundamental research, which brought me new insight into the field of immunology and drove me to pursue a career in science. To that end, I undertook a PhD in Immunology in Turkey, working on the immunomodulatory effect of mesenchymal stem cells in inflammatory conditions.

My current area of research focuses on the understanding of immune ageing combined with the use of immunosuppression after kidney transplantation and its effect on cutaneous immunity.

My studies in Immunology aim to develop my skills in basic and translational research and to combine molecular biology techniques with personalized regenerative therapies.
