Xingyuan Wu

DPhil Student

I completed my Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Medicine at Peking University Health Science Center in 2025 before joining the University of Oxford. During my undergraduate studies, I worked with the Department of Thoracic Surgery and the Thoracic Oncology Institute, focusing on multi-omic analyses of lung cancer.

My previous research explored the relationship between lung cancer and human endogenous retroviruses (HERVs), with particular interest in their role in shaping the tumor microenvironment and influencing immunotherapy outcomes. As a beneficiary of the CSC–COI programme, I am now pursuing a DPhil in Genomic Medicine and Statistics at the University of Oxford.
