Maria Veretennikova

Senior Bioinformatician

Welcome to my webpage!

My key research interests are in applications of mathematics, machine learning and statistics, primarily for biomedical sciences.

At the moment I am focusing on single cell RNASeq and spatial transcriptomics data analysis in the context of immune system functionality.

My most recent collaborations are related to quantifying circadian rhythm disruption in cancer and other diseases, as well as numerical computations and applications of Markov-type processes. I have also been involved in applying stochastic analysis to gain insight from brain data as well as modelling anomalous diffusion.
