COI CDF Dr Pramila Rijal Awarded Academy of Medical Sciences Springboard Grant

This year’s programme has invested £6.7 million in early-career researchers, supporting scientists across the UK to develop solutions to major health challenges. Dr Pramila Rijal, Career Development Fellow and Group Leader at the CAMS Oxford Institute (COI), is among the recipients of the award.

COI delegation visits CAMS/PUMC to strengthen collaborative ties

A delegation from the CAMS Oxford Institute (COI), led by Professor Tao Dong, Co-Director of COI, visited the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences and Peking Union Medical College (CAMS/PUMC) between 19 and 28 March 2026, strengthening long-standing collaboration and exploring opportunities to broaden future areas of activities and training. The visit, which took place in Suzhou, Beijing and Tianjin, brought together researchers and academics from both institutions.

CSC - CAMS/PUMC - Oxford High-level Innovative Talent Scholarships

The Chinese Scholarship Council, Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences/Peking Union Medical College and the University of Oxford collaborate together for a programme of scholarship cooperation.

The main purpose of this programme is to train the next generation of leaders in the medical sciences field. By combining the strength of our partners, it is aimed at students with a clinical background with an interest in pursuing research in a scientific field related to medicine.
