Liangci Zhang

DPhil Student

Liangci is a PhD student in Clinical Medicine, starting from October 2024. She works under the supervision of Professor Peijun Zhang, Professor Thomas Bowden and Dr. Joshua Hope. Her project focuses on HIV-1 uncoating mechanism which involves ncAA incorporation and click chemistry labelling, and applies in-situ correlative light and electron microscopy (CLEM). 

Liangci obtained her bachelor’s degree in biology from Nankai University, China in 2024, and is supported by the Nankai–Oxford Wenzhong Scholarship.
